Sacha Silva is a half Bulgarian, half Sri lankan flamenco guitarist who grew up in Canada but currently lives in Bogotá, Columbia. Yes, world music has found its poster boy... We met while living in London and, along with Sanghamitra Bandyopadhyay (aka Munia) started working together.

Sacha and Munia are interesting people - both are development economists which has taken them to many interesting parts of the world, which have influenced their music. The latest album was largely influenced by Sacha's time living in the Caribbean and Fiji at the time leading up to the coup.
